Inspired by Tuscany’s rolling green landscape, serene countryside, endless bottles of wine and spectacular views. There was something old world about this patio and we saw the potential.
The space had so much potential but it completely needed to be reworked. The brick patio, while charming, was very small. It was a piece of the landscape we wanted to keep because it gave us that sense of old world charm but we needed to figure out a way to extend it. We chose to go with beach pebble. It was soft on the feet and worked well with the brick. Next we focused on the fence. The current layout cut off the side yard, which really limited us in terms of space. We decided to extend the fencing and create a new entrance to the back patio. This change gave us the ability to increase the amount of yard that could be utilized.
Finally we laid out a plan for an outdoor shower. The shower was built with cedar wood and had teak wood mats and a beach gravel floor. It was built with a spa-like feel in mind. We hope everyone enjoys using this outdoor space. After all of the structural projects were complete we finished the landscaping and furnished the new patio. Our goal was to keep it as minimal and tranquil as possible. If you would like to learn more about this project or our work please contact us.
